Welcome to Kindy Zone Childcare Centres

Our vision is to strive towards providing children, families and our community with an atmosphere that is homely, enlightening, educational and uplifting. While also creating a safe and supportive environment for children to be themselves, to develop to their full potential and a culture of lifelong learning.

We have centres at two great locations under the Kindy Zone Banner, Kindy Zone Manoora and Kindy Zone Mount Sheridan, each centre is a fully accredited and licensed childcare centre and both centres operate Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten Programmes. Both centres offer high quality learning programs for children aged from 12 months to Kindergarten as well as Before/After school and Vacation Care for primary school aged children. Our Kindy Zone centres are unique and are inspired by and reflect the Early Years Framework.

The Kindy Zone Centres are owned and operated by a local Cairns family who have been in the early childhood education profession for over 30 years. They thrive on supporting the local Cairns community and are leading the way by setting the benchmark in early childhood education with decades of experience and knowledge.

At our centres, everything is inviting and curious and is inspired by and reflects the Early Years Framework.

At Kindy Zone, our qualified teachers and educators are devoted to providing the foundational knowledge, skills and behaviours that enable a child to participate, learn and succeed. We provide early education and care for children from 12 months old to school age and offer a Free Kindergarten Program for 4 to 5 year olds. Swimming Program

Kindy Zone Child Care Centre provides optional swimming lessons which are held at our company owned swim school, which has been an AUSTSWIM gold accredited swim centre since 2013. We have created a swimming program that caters to each child’s individual needs with the key focus of being safe in and around water. Our swimming levels work progressively through the foundational skills of swimming and allow advancement into stroke development and competitive strokes as well as starts, turns, finishes and more advanced survival strategies.
